Department Mission

Program Goals

Objectives

The Psychology Department offers an academic major leading to a Bachelor of Science degree, as well as an academic minor. The objective of these programs is to provide students with an academic and experiential background for graduate study in psychology or employment in social services, business, research settings, and myriad other settings.  The program provides a broad background in the field while also allowing students to select an area of psychology to study in more depth. The study of psychology is for students who have a general interest in understanding behavior at multiple levels of analysis (e.g., biological, cognitive, behavioral, social, neural).
